PHP developer is always prepared

Marc thought he had prepared himself for this meeting.  He had his resume in his brief case, the power point presentation with links to the pages for which he had been the primary PHP developer.  He hoped it would be enough.  He went over the first part of his speech.  He had memorized it because he didn’t want to have to consult note cards as he explained who he was.  What kind of idiot needed note cards to tell people about himself? The power point was just in case they asked for additional information that wasn’t in his speech or on his resume.   He went over the history of PHP from its creation in 1995 and thought about adding in a side commentary about the relative newness of the language, but thought better of it because it might throw him off.  Most people didn’t go to these lengths when meeting a date’s parents.
